5 days and 4 nights in Bahrain

Why go to Bahrain now ?

Why go to Bahrain now ?

While in recent months the influx of Israeli tourists to Dubai has not weakened, quite the contrary, why go visit Bahrain?

Bahrain is authentic, less oversized skyscrapers, less concrete, more nature, authenticity, brotherhood.

I am not going to say that skyscrapers do not exist in Bahrain because there are also modern districts and majestic towers. But you can also find traditional neighborhoods and natural areas like mangroves or palm groves, which we had the chance to visit.

I was talking about authenticity at the start of my talk, and authenticity begins with history.

Bahrain was the center of the Dilmun civilization. Due to its location in the Persian Gulf, the archipelago was also ruled and influenced by the Persians, Sumerians, Babylonians, Assyrians … and later by Arabs, Portuguese and British.

Bahrain’s National Museum houses the country’s 5,000 years of history and Bait Al-Qur’an, Al-Khamis Mosque, Qal’at Al Bahrain are just a few examples of the country’s many historic sites.

Authenticity and brotherhood also begin with gastronomy …. Bahraini cuisine is not just a mixture of Arab and Persian food. It has also been influenced by Asian, African and European food, due to the different communities present and the fact that Bahrain has always been an important seaport and trade hub. You will love the local cuisine.

Brotherhood is also tolerance, although Islam is the state religion of Bahrain, religious freedom is guaranteed by the constitution!

Thus, spiritual diversity is not only observed within the Muslim community with the Shiites, Sunnis and some Ibadi faithful, but also with 30% of the population of Christianity or Hinduism. You will love to discover the Manama synagogue, a pure wonder….

Brotherhood is also sharing, Bahrainis are very warm and welcoming. And the other cool thing is that they usually speak English very well! And some of them are already starting to speak Hebrew to better welcome us !!!

Fraternity is always sharing, during our stays in Bahrain, we had the chance to go to a few restaurants and to two festivals. We met people who were laughing, singing, dancing, drinking… Quite the opposite of what we expected in the Gulf!

By browsing the articles on our blog, you will discover a whole series of articles and videos that will make you discover this wonderful country, this authentic country, this warm country, this country that awaits you.

On June 3rd, direct flights between Israel and Bahrain will finally begin.

You will finally be able to discover the treasures of the Kingdom.

Less than 2h30 of direct flight (with Gulf Air and its quality of service worthy of the most famous Asian companies) you will find yourself in paradise, a country you will never get tired of, so beautiful and authentic it is.
