DAY | AIRPORT – SIGIRIYA (Travel Time: 03 hrs.)
On arrival you will meet our Chauffeur/ Guide, who meet and greet at the Topaz Lounge at the Bandaranaike International Airport. You will be served Tea/ Coffee with some snacks until your baggage arrives. the Bandaranaike International Airport. DAY 02 | SIGIRIYA (TRAVEL TIME: 30 min)
Breakfast at the hotel, our first visit of the day would the Giant Rock Fortress of Sigiriya.
Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a spectacular Rock Fortress, is one of Sri Lanka’s major attractions. The most impressive facets of the unique complex are the Water Gardens, the Frescoes of beautiful maidens, the Mirror Wall with ancient graffiti, the Lion platform and the Summit of 1.6 hectares, which was completely covered by buildings during the period of Sigiriya’s glory. Built by King Kashyapa (477-495 A.D), the “Lion Rock” is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200m from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town and the base is ringed by a moat, rampart, and extensive gardens. The world-renowned frescoes (originally 500, of which only 19 remain today) which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway are painted in earth pigments on plaster. The old stairway to the top led through the mouth of a crouching lion but today only the huge paws remain giving an indication of the massive proportions of the head. Remains of the handsome royal citadel are on the summit and several caves for meditation, audience platforms and baths complete the unique site.On completion you will be leaving towards another activity. DAY 03 | SIGIRIYA - KANDY (02 HRS AND 30 min)
After breakfast we will check out from the hotel and visit the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple.
Dambulla is located in the north central province this UNESCO World Heritage Site which dates back to the 01st century BC, is an amazing complex of 05 caves, first used as a refuge by an ancient king who on regaining his throne, commissioned magnificent carved images within the living rock. Later king’s madefhatton further improvements and the caves contain over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is a colossal figure spanning 15 meters. Cave inscriptions from the 2nd Century BC are found and on the walls are many paintings most of which belong to the Kandy period (early 19th century). This temple is a perfect location to view evolution of ancient Sri Lankan art and is an important historical site due to the amalgamation of the material from many eras.
On completion we will travel towards Kandy. Upon arrival in Kandy and Check into the hotel and in the evening, you will visit the temple of the tooth.Temple of the tooth, is the most important place for the present Buddhist because it is the final resting place of the sacred tooth relic of Buddha known as “Sri Dalada Maligawa.” It is famous for its carvings and the beautiful art that is unique to Sri Lanka. The most important part of the Dalada Maligawa is the octagon (Pathirppuwa). Thousands of people line up each day to get a glimpse of its majesty. Kandy is also the one of the most beautiful cities of Sri Lanka with its picturesque lake built by its last king, it’s hills surrounding the city, it’s devales the oldest the natha devale belonging to the 14th century and the palace of the last king of Kandy which are presently the districts courts and the archaeological museum. Kandy also is the centre for Buddhist cultural affairs with meditation centres and Buddhist publication societies.

DAY 04|KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA (TRAVEL TIME: 02hrs)
After breakfast you will make a meeting the famous painter Rahju. You will visit his art Gallery and enjoy a cup of tea/ coffee with him.
On completion visited the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya .Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya is one of the best botanical gardens in Sri Lanka, and one of the most beautiful in Asia. It is located just 6 km from Kandy, the second largest city in Sri Lanka. The botanical gardens is huge & well-organized gardens, It is renowned for the collection the variety of Orchids, and has more than 300 varieties of Orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palms trees attach it is the National Herbarium. Total land mass of the botanical garden is 147 acres; it is managed by the Division of National Botanic Gardens of the Department of Agriculture. The origins of the Botanic Gardens date as far back. The Classical Avenue of Palms is located in this Garden. One tree with a significant history is the Cannon ball Tree planted by King George V of the United Kingdom and Queen Mary in 1901. The tree is bent with their fruit which looks like Cannon Ball, which is how it came to be named.On completion you This morning we experience a majestic train ride from Peradeniya to Nuwara -Eliya, which includes the most amazing scenery on route. Your chauffeur will proceed to the Nanuoya railway station in advance and await for your arrival.After the nice train journey proceed to Nuwara Eliya, we will stop at the Rothschild Tea Estate, where you will experience the procedure of making the world’s finest tea. An opportunity will be given to everyone to taste different varieties of Tea. Nuwara Eliya is the heart of Sri Lankan hill country. It is the home of the famous Ceylon Tea and the rolling mountains are a carpet of velvety green tea plantations, interspersed with gushing streams and tumbling waterfalls. The salubrious climate, misty glens and the decidedly British character make Nuwara Eliya a must on any Sri Lankan travel itinerary. Check in to the hotel and the rest of the day is at Leisure.

DAY 05 |NUWARA ELIYA TO HORTON PLAINS – NUWARA ELIYA (TRAVEL TIME: 45 min)
Breakfast at the hotel We dedicate this day to explore the countryside of Nuwara eliya, followed up by a visit to experience how the world’s finest tea is made.
HORTON PLAINS - Sri Lanka's highest plateau 7200 ft. above sea level in the central mountain country. This ‘Fen” is a very scenic region with an astounding variety of scenery from mountains to grasslands, from marshes to trout streams. Sri Lanka's best flavored high grown teas are grown in the surrounding areas. Spectacular view from 'Worlds End' where the plateau plunges a thousand feet in a straight sheer drop. Cool and bracing climate, excellent for trout fishing and very good hiking country. Distinctive flora (many English field flowers grow on the plains) colourful butterflies and many rare highland birds.

DAY 06 |NUWARA ELIYA - UDAWALAWE - GALLE (TRAVEL TIME: 4hrs & 30 min)
Breakfast at the hotel we rise early in the morning today and proceed to Udawalawe National park the jungle for half a day safari. You will receive packed Lunch during the safari.
UDAWALAWE NATIONAL PARK - Udawalawe National Park is an area of 31,800 hectares, which was declared a protected sanctuary with full national park status in 1972. The park area which falls within two provinces of Sri Lanka has an annual rainfall of 1,520 mm and an average temperature of 29.4 C. Surrounded by mountain ranges, the terrain of the park is a mixture of grassland, which of all Sri Lanka’s wildlife reserves, best rivals the Savanna of Africa and shrub jungle. Teak plantations, water holes and two important factors make this park special - the large Udawalawe Reservoir and the Walewe River, which ensure a supply of water for the fauna within. Internationally renowned for its large herd of elephants, the park is also known for several species of Deer, Wild Boar, the dangerous Wild Buffalo, Jackal and very rare sightings of Leopard.
