Sri Lankans love Israel, and most importantly – the Israelis!

At a time when Jewish students physically attacked the Sorbonne in Paris, where the “Palestine” flag is raised at the HEC (a large French business school) and the Jewish students must establish themselves in the prestigious universities of Harvard or Columba in the United States.
At a time when many countries in Europe will officially recognize a Palestinian state (Spain, Sweden and Ireland and Norway…)
At a time when an Israeli living as a full citizen has become almost impossible outside our borders, who are the friendly countries where we can still vacation in complete safety?
We will not make an exhaustive list here, we will only remember evidence and mainly facts.
In all the countries where the majority is Buddhist, it is still possible that Israelis can travel to them safely, and assimilate into them without hiding their Israeli citizenship.
Two examples
Sri Lanka: With a Buddhist population of 85% (and only 7% of Muslims), “The Land of Happiness is one of the few countries in the world today where you can speak Hebrew safely, walk with a kippah without fear of being attacked.
Sri Lanka is one of the few countries in the world that has supported Israel since October 7, and still supports Israel like many countries in Europe…
We have offices in Colombo (the capital of Sri Lanka), our teams go to the site 3 to 4 times a year, we can assure you that this country loves Israelis, respects us, and that in the midst of this war we are all going through, Sri Lanka is a comforting, calm and reassuring country.
And when we talk about war with our local partners, or even with the Sri Lankans with whom we have been friends for many years, without exception I assure you that the prayers of the Sri Lankans for our peace are sincere and come from the depths of their hearts.
Second example: Vietnam
Again, this country is hospitable to Israelis, and again the majority of the people are Buddhist and Taoist, with very few Muslims in its population, and this country also allows Israelis to move around safely, without having to fear anti-Semitic revelations.
That’s why we strongly recommend choosing destinations where you will be safe, accompanied by the locals, discover a new country and of course don’t forget to sunbathe :), be sure you won’t have to hide being Jewish or Israeli.
