Morocco<\/strong> has different climates (Mediterranean, oceanic or continental) with generally mild winters and hot summers. Inland, the climate will be drier and in the mountains, the climate will be more continental. In Marrakech, temperatures vary between 19 \u00b0 C in winter in January to reach 37 \u00b0 C during the summer months.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to great light and temperatures that can reach 19 \u00b0 C in winter in Marrakech<\/strong>, Morocco is a destination that can be discovered all year round except in summer when the heat is difficult to bear.<\/span><\/p>\n

– On the Mediterranean coast, the climate is quite mild in winter with some rains and the summers are rather dry, hot and sunny. In January, the thermometer will be close to 17 \u00b0 C while in summer it will be closer to 30 \u00b0 C.<\/span><\/p>\n

– On the Atlantic coast, the climate is almost identical with 22 \u00b0 C in Agadir in January and 30 \u00b0 C in August. For swimming, the water temperature is cool and does not exceed 21 \u00b0 C in summer. The sea temperature is identical on the immense beaches of Essaouira, a destination known by surfers thanks to its spots with beautiful waves.<\/span><\/p>\n

– In Marrakech, the climate is warmer, especially in summer when temperatures can exceed 40 \u00b0 C. Avoid this period to explore the city, but prefer the cooler shoulder seasons.<\/span><\/p>\n

– To cool off, head to the mountainous regions of the Atlas or the Rif<\/strong> where you can go on beautiful hikes. The rains in summer are rather weak. These mountainous regions should be avoided in winter, as it can be cold and snow is often present. You can also find ski resorts in the Atlas, including the Ouka\u00efmden resort located 80 km from Marrakech.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>To avoid the sweltering heat of summer, prefer a trip to Morocco in spring or fall. If you are planning a hiking trip, summer will be a good season in the Rif and the Atlas.
