Saigon arrival / visits & walks in the Occidental Quarter
At your arrival, meeting with our tour guide & driver for the transfer to hotel to check in (Hotel check in time is 14:00).
Based on your arrival time we will visit the city’s Occidental Quarter. Your first stop is Notre Dame Cathedral, discover the magnificent neo-Romanesque architecture, built between October 1877 and April 1880, it has two square bell towers 40 m high, topped with iron spires. Opposite is the Central Post Office, one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City and learn about this significant landmark. Continue the visit to Opera House and City Hall, both were built during the colonial time and bear a clear mark of French colonial architecture.
The rest of the day is free at leisure.

DAY 2
Saigon / visits & discovery

Let’s visit the city.
Your first stop is Reunification Palace: built from 1962 to 1966 in place of the Palace of the Governor General of Indochina dating from 1865. It was later turned into the Presidential Palace of the South Vietnam regime. After the war, to mark the reunification of the country, the government changed the palace name again to the one we know today.
Next we go Cho Lon to discover its old quarters of the market, Thien Hau Temple and Giac Lam Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in the city, its architecture, its layout and decoration remained almost intact since its construction in 1744!
After lunch we continue the visit to the War Remnants Museum where there is a vast display of machinery, weapons, photos, and documentation of the Vietnam War. In the courtyard massive military vehicles are for exhibition as well as tiger cages for the visitor to get a feel on how it was to be a prisoner during wartime. In the museum building itself, each floor will represent a separate theme from the war and the war crimes committed. Finish the day with Ben Thanh Market, where you can find almost everything, ranging from fruits, vegetables to Vietnamese traditional handicrafts, lacquerware, embroidery, fabric and much more.
DAY 3
Saigon - Cao Dai Temple - Cu Chi Tunnels - Saigon
After breakfast,
Meeting with your team of tour guide & driver for the departure for Tay Ninh. Observe the scenery as it changes from a city view to rice paddies, villagers drying noodles by the side of the road and other scenes typical of southern Vietnam. Visit the Cao Dai an amazing religion, unique and pure in Vietnam. With more than two million followers, mostly in the South. We have the opportunity to attend the noon Mass on the altar and find all the great men of the world: Kumauni, Confucius, Jesus Christ, Lao Tseu even Jeanne d'Arc, Victor Hugo, Lenin, etc ... symbolizes the philosophy "all religions are moving towards the same path".
After lunch, we continue towards the Cu Chi tunnels. Known by the name "Iron Triangle" and the "Free Fire zone", these tunnels allowed the zones controlled by the Viet Cong to communicate with each other when they were encircled by the Americans and their South Vietnamese ally. They also provided shelter to the population during air attacks. The Vietcong soldiers lived there under extremely harsh conditions, they are also living witnesses of patriotism of the Vietnamese. Then back to Saigon. Overnight at the hotel in Saigon.
DAY 4
Saigon - Mekong / visits & activities - Can Tho
After breakfast you will meet your guide and driver to go to My Tho, a vast network of thousands of canals that characterizes the life of the Mekong Delta, the largest rice bowl in Vietnam.
The Mekong bursts into 9 large rivers in the very south of Viet Nam, forming a delta of more than 100 kilometers. The land, humid and flooded each year, produces lush and varied vegetation. The delta is vast and can be discovered by boat ride on the rivers, canals, visiting the islands, discovering local life and especially via the floating markets.
Boarding for a cruise on the Mekong to the islet of Thoi Son or Unicorn Island: large tropical garden of 11km².
Tasting exotic fruits and good fresh honey from the hives in the orchards.
Lunch on the island. The specialties include the famous elephant ear fish. In the afternoon, a sampan ride on the small arroyos, where lush vegetation grows on both banks.
We continue our journey to Can Tho, the region considered the most fertile in this delta. Overnight at the hotel in Can Tho.
DAY 5
Can Tho / Floating Market - Fly to Phu Quoc.

Early in the morning meet your guide and driver for departure by private sampan to visit the most genuine market in the region - Cai Rang floating market. We cruise along the canals to discover the life of the delta which comes alive: cast net fishermen, small boats offering all kinds of tropical fruits and local soups for breakfast.
Disembark to transfer to the airport for your flight to Phu Quoc.Upon arrival in Phu Quoc, the driver will take you to the hotel for check in. Rest of the day is at your leisure.
Overnight in Phu Quoc.

DAY 9
Phu Quoc - Fly to Saigon (B).
Breakfast at hotel
Free time at your leisure until check out. Then go to the airport for your flight to Saigon.
Upon arrival in Saigon the driver will take you to the hotel for check in. Rest of the day is free time to explore the city.
DAY 10
Saigon - Free time & Departure

Free time at your leisure until check out. Then your driver will take you to the airport for your flight home.
