10 DAYS KENYA MUST SEE SAFARI TO LAKE NAIVASHA /LAKE NAKURU PARK /SAMBURU PARK /NAIROBI /AMBOSELI PARK
ay 1: Nairobi - You are met by our driver at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with a hand held welcoming board and after greetings and introductions, are driven to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the Nairobi Meridian hotel.
Day 2: Nairobi/Lake Naivasha - After breakfast checks out and drive into the Great Rift Valley and make a stopover at the view point of the Rift Valley which is a good place for photo taking. At a far distance can see Mt Longonot which has a crater lake at the top. You have Lunch enroute and later a boat ride and a bush walk in the only island of the lake where you can see many species of birds, plains mammals and hippos. Arrive in Nakuru in the late afternoon and have enough time to check in your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Top Cliff Lodge.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru - After morning breakfast, visit the flamingoes’ lake that is referred as best birds paradise on earth. You have a chance to witness the rare white rhinos, lions, zebras, Rothschild and giraffes. Also take photos of greater and lesser flamingoes and other birds that are only found in Kenya. Dinner and overnight stay at the Top Cliff Lodge.
Day 4: Nakuru/Mt Kenya- After early morning breakfast take packed lunch and depart towards Mt Kenya. On the way at Nyahururu pass the Equator which is an imaginary line that divides the world into two. An Equator experience and good photo taking leaves lifetime memories. Later afternoon visit Olpejeta conservancy and search for lions, elephants, monkeys, cheetahs, leopards and chimpanzees. The park has also many species of birds such as sunbirds, eagles, hawks and various types of indigenous old trees. Mt Kenya is one of the rare UN World heritage sites and the 2nd tallest mountain in Africa. Dinner and overnight stay at the Sportsman Arms hotel.
Day 5: Nanyuki/Samburu - After morning breakfast drive towards Samburu Park which is in the North side of Kenya. Lunch enroute and on the way from far can see the Aberdare ranges which is the biggest water tower of Kenya. Arrive in the afternoon and have time to check in your hotel. Later you visit one of the local Samburu villages and witness their traditional cultures which have been passed for centuries from generations to generations. Dinner and overnight stay at the Samburu Sentrim camp.
Day 6: Samburu -Spend the whole day in Samburu slopes which has rare reticulated giraffes, lions, baboons, cheetahs, impala, baisy olyx, and hyenas. Also found are rare birds such as Somali ostrich, sun birds, eagles, guinea fowl, horn bills, secretary birds and eagles. Dinner and overnight stay at the Samburu Sentrim camp.
Day 7: Samburu/Nairobi -After breakfast check out and drive towards central Kenya where on the way from far enjoy fascinating sights of Aberdare ranges. Also pass the plantations of wheat, coffee, bananas and pineapples. Lunch enroute and arrive late in the afternoon at Nairobi. Dinner and overnight stay at the Silver Spring hotel.
Day 8: Nairobi/Amboseli - In the morning after breakfast, have a short city tour of Nairobi and witness some of the iconic attraction’s sites of the city such as old government offices, parliament buildings, Jomo Kenyatta mausoleum and the famous Uhuru park. Later proceed to most visited Amboseli National Park arriving late in the afternoon and have time to check in your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the Amboseli AA Lodge.
Day 9: Amboseli - Spend the whole day game drive in this premier Amboseli where you can have a chance to a clear view of the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro (tallest mountain in Africa and world highest free standing mountain). The park is also popular for giraffes, cheetahs, elephants, lions, warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes and zebras. Birds such as pelicans, hammerkop’s and king fisher can also be found in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at the Amboseli AA Lodge.
Day 10: Amboseli/Nairobi – After morning breakfast check out from the hotel and heads to Nairobi. You arrive in the afternoon, and dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your safe flight back home.
