DAY 01 – HA NOI WELCOME
- Xin chào! Welcome to Ha Noi, the capital of Vietnam.
- Hanoi, the capital of unified Vietnam, has retained the nostalgic charm of the French colonial era. The city's modernization, initiated by the French in 1882 and continuing until 1955, has not changed Hanoi's appearance significantly. Some remarkably preserved or restored buildings stand out in a harmonious architectural ensemble. Hanoi is arguably the most charming city in Vietnam, with all its authenticity, grand shaded avenues, numerous lakes, and well-manicured gardens. The capital, HANOI, formerly known as Thang Long (Soaring Dragon), is located in the Red River Delta and boasts numerous monuments, ancestral cultural relics, beautiful lakes, and gardens.
- Pick you up at the international airport and transfer to hotel and check-in.
- Visit the Temple of Literature, one of the country's educational, historical, and cultural symbols.
- Then do a walking tour through notable sites such as the magnificent Opera House, a colonial architectural masterpiece built in 1910; Ly Thai To Park, home to an imposing bronze statue of the Vietnamese king who founded Hanoi; and Hoan Kiem Lake, a symbol of the city where you'll find Ngoc Son Temple and The Huc Bridge.
- Have lunch with Cha Ca for a taste of authentic Ha Noi.
- Continue to visit the former Governor's Palace, photo stop in front of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, take a leisurely walk at the historic Ba Dinh Square, and followed by a visit to the famous One Pillar Pagoda.
- Experience a cyclo ride through the old quarters of the capital. You will pass through the "36 Streets'' area,known for its bustling small shopping streets such as Silk Street, Cotton Street, Tin Street, and more. Here, you will also find out so much great street food from the local vendors and explore more about the daily life of Hanoi people. The intimate atmosphere will be open and feel deeply.
- Enjoy the Water puppet show - a unique traditional performance of Vietnam. This show is depicting the daily life, culture, and beliefs of Vietnamese people. This unique form of entertainment showcases traditional music performances as well.
- After the show, drive back to the hotel.

DAY 02: HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI
- Have breakfast at the hotel. Take a trip to explore Ninh Binh.
- Ninh Binh, the former capital of Hoa Lu, is located 90
- km south of Hanoi. It was the capital of three feudal
- dynasties in Vietnam: Dinh, Le, and Ly.
- Ninh Binh is nicknamed the"Inland Halong Bay" for
- its peaceful and charming karst landscapes with
- mysterious features.
- Take a leisurely walk and visit the Thai Vi Temple,
- which is beautifully situated in an exceptional natural
- setting. Enjoy a flat-bottomed boat ride along the
- river that winds through the gigantic karst peaks.
- Have lunch on the route.
- Ride a bike through typical villages, along the village path to meet the local residents, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery along the way.
- Have dinner at your own expense and transfer to Ha Noi.
- Check –in the hotel in the late afternoon and overnight.
DAY 03 – HANOI – HA LONG
- Have breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to explore HaLong Bay.
- Complete the luggage check in procedure at the
- waiting lounge before boarding for the cruise.
- Transfer to Athena Cruise by a tender boat. Warm
- welcome with the signature welcome drink while
- listen to the safety briefing and clearing out the
- itinerary.
- Happy lunch will be served at a cozy restaurant.
- Transferring by tender to “Sung Sot” Cave (Surprising cave) – the biggest and the most beautiful cave inHalong Bay.
- Leaving the Surprising cave, keep moving by tender to Titov island was named by Uncle Ho, after GhermanStepanovich Titov – the Soviet astronaut who visited in 1962.
- Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach or climbing the steps of the Rock to the top of the island. A magical panoramic view of Halong Bay will surprise you there.
- Back to the cruise after a chain of interesting activities. Time for relaxing while the cruise moves to the overnight place.
- Take advantage of the Happy hours “Buy 1 get 1 free” drink while the sun is giving way to stunning twilight.
- A Cooking Demonstration of traditional Vietnamese dishes will be organized by Athena A fusion set menu will be served to warm up your stomach after a long active day.
- Free time for evening activities: film entertainment, mini-games (in the dining room); squid fishing;massage… The Cruise Manager will be there to support you.
DAY 04: HA LONG – HA NOI – / flight to HUE
- Welcome the sunrise with a Tai Chi session on the deck. Enjoy light breakfast and chill out on your own.
- Continue to visit “Luon” Cave - one of the caves open to the form beautiful endemic then vegetation of Halong Bay. 2 options to choose how to discover it: kayaking for free and traditional woven (bamboo) boat rowed by a local boatman.
- Come back to the cruise, relax and pack the luggage.

- by tender back to HaLong international Harbour and
- disembarkation.
- Pick up by shuttle bus from Athena to transfer to Ha Noi.

DAY 05 : HUE
- HUE: The capital of the Nguyen dynasty, the rulers of the South in the 16th century, Hue became the capital of all Vietnam after its reunification by Gia Long in 1802. As the imperial residence and seat of the court, Hue gained great prestige and refinement, which was reflected particularly in its music and cuisine. Under French colonization, Hue became the capital of Annam, one of the subdivisions of French Indochina. The monarchy was maintained but placed under supervision. The
- French encouraged the architectural development of the city while preserving its status as an imperial city until 1945, the year of Emperor Bao Dai's abdication. The regional capital, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1993, offers visitors numerous well-preserved historical sites.
- Visit to the Imperial City which was built between 1805 and 1832. Surrounded by a long and thick wall of600 meters, it has ten gates, including four main ones for access: the Gate of Peace to the North, the Gate ofHumanity to the East, the Gate of Virtue to the West, and the Gate of the South, which leads to the imperial residence. The imperial residence opens onto a vast courtyard, in the center of which stands the Golden Bridge that spans the "Golden Water Pond," a basin filled with goldfish and water hyacinths. This courtyard provides access to the Palace of Supreme Harmony, built in 1805.
- Lunch with a culinary tasting of Bun Bo Hue, "Hue noodles with beef," a dish originating from the former imperial city.
- Boat ride on the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda, whose octagonal tower is recognizable from afar.
- Visit to a royal tomb of the Nguyen dynasties, such as the Khai Dinh Tomb or the Minh Mang Tomb.Stop in a village specialized in the production of incense sticks, a traditional craft of the region.
- Have dinner with self sufficient expenses. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 06 : HUE – HOI AN
- Have breakfast at the hotel. Pick up from your hotel to HoiAn town center. Departure by road to Hoi An, via the famous Hai Van Pass, which offers a magnificent panorama of Lang CoPeninsula on the Hue side and the East Sea on the Danang side.
- HOI AN: The city of Hoi An is one of the major attractions in the Danang region with over 800 historically significant buildings. This former trading the port, particularly prosperous from the 15th to the 19th century, truly deserves its UNESCO World Heritage status granted in 1999. The well-preserved old quarters of HoiAn reflect the fusion of cultures – between local traditions and foreign influences – that has occurred over the centuries through the commercial exchanges in this traditional Southeast Asian port.
- Walk through the ancient town of Hoi An, a small town classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
- During the visit to Hoi An, you will notice the excellent state of preservation of many houses, including the famous Tan Ky House at 101 Nguyen Street.
- Visit the old quarters of the city: the Fujian Sanctuary, the Chuc Thanh Pagoda, the Phuoc KienAssembly Hall, the ancient wooden houses, and the Japanese Bridge.

DAY 7 : HOI AN – VILLAGE TRA QUE
– THANH HA – HOI AN In the morning, take a bicycle ride to a local farm in Tra Que Village. Upon arrival at the village we walk around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing and fertilizing the garden with seaweed. We will take part to gardening activities raking, sowing, watering and picking greens…. After farming activities are done, we are shown how to prepare the “Tam Huu” spring roll, “Banh Xeo” or local pancake we can enjoy as our lunch
Continue to visit ceramic Thanh Ha village before our return to Hoi An. Dinner with self-sufficient expenses.Overnight at hotel.
DAY 8 : HOI AN – DA NANG – VOL to SAIGON
- Have breakfast, check out the hotel and move to the Da Nang airport for the domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Have lunch with "Pho", a specialty made with beef broth, thinly sliced meat, and rice noodles, flavored with various herbs and spices.
- Spend the rest of the day exploring some HCM city‘s key highlights. We will tailor your tour suit you, but we particularly recommend visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral,the Central Post Office, Reunification Palace and Ben Thanh market.For each destination, we will take a break for taking photos and discovering about the its history, as well as the activitieshere. And at the Ben Thanh market, you can find a lot of souvenirs and taste a lot of Vietnamese food. Enjoy The exciting time together. Later stop at the Jade pagoda or Thien Hau pagoda if the time allows and you are interested.
- Explore the nightlife enthusiasts and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 09 – SAIGON – BEN TRE – SAIGON
- Have breakfast at the hotel.
- 8:00 am, pick you up and depart to explore Ben Tre by road. Our guide will accompany you during the journey.
- Upon arrival, spend half of the first day discovering some Ben Tre ’s key highlights. We’ll tailor the tour to suit you, but we particularly recommend visiting the brick factory, handicrafts in terracotta, and the location of production for some objects made from coco fibers by small boat. It’s very interesting and sure to have an unforgettable experience.
- Continue to take a bike ride on a small path through the villages and admire the lush landscapes of the coconut ranges, rice fields, make a stop at a mat-making workshop for studying the way to do and meet the locals.
- Lunch is served with “elephant ear fish” for a taste of authentic Mekong Delta.
- Transfer back to Saigon.
- Dinner with self-sufficient expenses.
- Explore the nightlife enthusiasts and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 10 SAIGON – TAY NINH – CU CHI – SAIGON / DEPARTURE
- Enjoy a morning drive through the typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh Province on the western side of Vietnam. At Tay Ninh visit the Cao Dai Great Temple, with its architecture looking as though it could have come straight from a Walt Disney movie. Here all the major faiths of the world come together in a unique religious blend. After lunch in a local restaurant visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during their long struggle for independence. Transfer back to Saigon.
- Free time for your last discoveries in Saigon before transfer to the airport for your departure flight
