Discover together the wonders of the Kingdom of Bahrain
Bahrain third opus, the adventure in the Kingdom continues
Today we take you to visit 3 must-see places in Bahrain:
Adliya – Block 338
Once again, a large part of the Bahraini population has come from expatriation. Obviously, this results in many influences and an unparalleled cultural dynamic. The Adliya district is a perfect example. Here, we walk through pedestrian streets, where each section of the wall is decorated with works of street art, or ephemeral works by local artists. French-style bakeries rub shoulders with chain restaurants serving international cuisine, shisha bars and nightclubs with Western influences.
The desert region of Bahrain
Once out of Manama, Bahrain offers a whole new face, far from its busy streets and modern pastel-colored towers. In particular, you will be able to discover potters’ villages like that of A’ali, with ancestral know-how and witness to the country’s flourishing economy in the art of pottery for centuries. Obviously, you will not fail to observe oil drilling as far as the eye can see in several areas, before landing on the world famous Formula 1 circuit of Bahrain. For history lovers, you will probably prefer the visit to the tree of life, a multicentenary tree surviving in the middle of the desert by some miracle, except that it would be one of the last vestiges of the garden of Eden… Without forgetting the fort of Riffa, a sublime fort in the purest architectural tradition of Arab forts.
Amwaj Island
Located to the northeast of the main island, this man-made island will appeal to lovers of luxury holidays with their feet in the water. This island has indeed many sublime hotels and large sandy beaches, dying in crystal clear turquoise waters. You have to like modern and artificial arrangements. But it is clear that if you are looking to rest, or even to experience many water activities in Bahrain, you will be spoiled for choice.
Stay tuned, from tomorrow we will talk about the hundreds of activities that it is possible to do in Bahrain, activities for young and old, you will take your breath away.
